Bible History Classes LCPS
The Association of Congregations has recently taken on the responsibility of fundraising for the three Bible classes taught at Kinston High, South Lenoir, and North Lenoir High Schools. Funding has been exhausted, and the classes are at risk of being removed from the curriculum. If you’re interested in investing in this ministry opportunity, pick up an info flyer in the church’s Main Hall.
The GATE
The church will be headed to The GATE on Friday, August 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM to feed and hang out with the youth. We are seeking volunteers to help make this a great night. A sign – up list is located on the information table in the Grand Hall.
Race of Faith
Shady Grove Church is holding it’s 10th annual RACE OF FAITH 5K and 1 – mile Fun Run/Walk. The race event will be held on September 14th at 4359 Middle Road, Kinston, NC (GPS – Trenton, NC). Check – in times are 8:00 – 8:30 AM and race starts at 9:00 AM. The RACE OF FAITH is to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
